Good questions. Clear answers.

The essentials about supported projects and what happens when you deploy.

What kind of websites can I deploy?

Hosting is designed for static websites, including plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript projects. Your repository should include the files and build settings needed to generate a static site.

How do I deploy my website?

Sign in, open your dashboard, and connect a GitHub repository you can access. Hosting will start the deployment and show its status as the site is built.

Do I need to use the command line?

No. You can start a deployment from your Hosting dashboard by providing your GitHub repository. Build and deployment status are shown in the same place.

How will I know when my website is live?

Your dashboard tracks deployment progress. When the build is ready, you can open and share the live website link from your project.

Can I deploy a private repository?

The deployment provider needs access to your repository. If it cannot access the project, check its visibility and the GitHub permissions granted to the provider.
